Warren Buffett: All CEO Candidates “Inside” Berkshire Hathaway

Warren Buffett says this morning all the candidates already identified to replace him as Berkshire Hathaway CEO already work for the company.
“There is no reason to go outside. All the candidates are inside.”
Bloomberg notes that in his annual letter to shareholders earlier this year, Buffett said all the candidates “currently work for or are available to Berkshire.”
This morning’s statement appears to narrow things down a bit.
He also tells Bloomberg that he doesn’t need the government’s ’stress tests’ to help him make his investment decisions. “I think I know their future, frankly, better than somebody that comes in to take a look. They may be using more of a checklist type approach.”
